ZA TOTAL vs. ZA FID Air — What's the difference?

ZA FID Air removes hydrocarbons only (<0.05 ppm HC) — sufficient for GC-FID fuel air. ZA TOTAL additionally removes CO, NOx, SO₂, and CO₂ for true multi-contaminant zero reference air required by environmental monitors, CEMs, and atmospheric analyzers where trace gas background interference must be eliminated.

Which OFCAS compressor do I need?

Match the compressor output to your generator's air inlet requirement. ZA FID Air / ZA TOTAL (external air): OFCAS 35 or 35 PLUS for 1–3 generators; OFCAS 40 or 60 for higher combined flow. ZA RACK FID: OFCAS RACK 4U (10 L/min) or 6U (40 L/min) for clean in-rack integration. NG CASTORE (membrane N₂): OFCAS Scroll iQ 220 or 200 series for the high flow rates membrane generators require. The Scroll iQ is also the quietest option at <50 dB(A).
